The District contracted with Marcel Payeur Inc. to renovate and paint the Grammar Tank in 2017. Wright-Pierce Engineering was hired to provide specifications, contract documents and to provide inspection of the job.  The total cost of the project was $709.595.45.  The tank was previously painted in 1994, at the time the expected life of the coating system was 20 to 25 years.  The new coating system includes the addition of a special UV resistant layer and is expected to last up to 30 years.
